Happy Trails BBQ

My husband and I, finally tried Happy Trails and we are so glad we did. I called in a order and they were so nice on the phone. When we got our food home it was still warm, and it was delicious. The brisket was awesome. I'm picky about my BBQ sauce and it was excellent. Thank You Happy Trails for making a great dinner for us. We will be back!!!

The ribs were tender, great flavor and juicy, brisket had great flavor, coleslaw has a nice kick to it and not too sweet, just liked everything. Highly recommend to anyone passing through our living in Palestine to visit and enjoy, not only the great bbq, but also the great family and friends operating the restaurant. Happy Trails BBQ just opened and are working out the kinks, as with all great things, it only gets better over time!

I loved this place. I was hungry for Texas BBQ and this place did not disappoint. The brisket was tender, sausage was juicy and the pulled pork had just the right amount of smoke. Clean atmosphere. Staff was friendly and welcoming. I give 5 out of 5 stars. Well done

Dine in was open finally today 👌🏻 I was so glad I finally got to try this new place in town. Hands down, one of the best brisket sandwiches I’ve had around here. The bun was just right, brisket had good flavor and topped with their bbq sauce…I wanted 3 more of them. Definitely bringing the wife next time! Staff was super friendly, all smiles, welcoming and engaging. I really hope this never changes! Inside was very clean and had a nice layout. The coolest thing (not pictured) was they had a retro styled ice machine. Topped it off for me. I’ll be back soon and next time, I’m getting dessert!

The Brisket was awesome. The prices are fair some think it's high but It's BBQ. The mustard potato salad needs some help or just some mustard. I do like fancy pickles just not with BBQ. Please get some cheap ole dill pickle slices and give me more than 2! It's not perfect but it's pretty dang good!!!

Really good!! Portions aren't huge but are reasonable and the flavor is good. The mac and cheese is worth coming back for on its own. The brisket is pretty and not just fat like some places.

Great all around experience friendly staff food was excellent, got the smoked turkey plate and it is hands down best tasting turkey around. The sandwiches are delicious as well. I recommend this place for sure if your looking for a new fresh tasty BBQ spot.

This place is pretty darn amazing. The ribs are tender and smokey and the brisket especially when cut from the point is meat heaven. For those who say they are overpriced and miss Sheps, there is a big difference between being served prime rib to that of a hot dog. Happy Trails is the Terry Black's of Palestine.
