“This fine dining establishment is the best in Palestine Texas. The menu has lots of new items that are unique and the prices are very reasonable. I will go here often because I can eat a great meal in a wonderful atmosphere for the same price as a hamburger at other places. Even their unlimited iced tea is only $1.50 and it comes with frozen iced tea cubes instead of ice made with plain water that waters down your drink. Who else does that at such a low price ?”

“Excellent selection and great prices. I have recently moved back to Palestine after having lived in Longview for 25 years and I am impressed. I would be hard pressed to find a restaurant like Bernhard’s in Longview, but to have it in Palestine is wonderful. I typically eat here twice a week. The lunch buffet on weekdays is very good. Fish, shrimp, chicken, and vegetables. Plus, a salad bar and desert. The drinks are included in the price. If you’re looking for great food, great service, and a great atmosphere, then you’ll love Bernhard’s. I highly recommend it.”

“Amazing donuts and kolaches. My wife and I were traveling to Tyler and saw this place and thought we would give it a shot. Everything was fresh and simply delicious. Homemade taste is how I would characterize their donuts and kolaches. I am not a big donut eater but I thought their donuts are addictive and if I lived close by would be a regular customer. Next time I am in the Tyler area definitely stopping if they are open. The thing I think makes it appealing is that it is a family owned business with a focus on quality. Definitely recommend.”
