The service was very friendly and kind. The prices are well within reason for the quality. Similar to a place in Denver I loved.
I tried "The Big Earl" on opening day and was not let down. This menu item definitely lives up to its name. When I opened my to-go container, I was pleased to see the 8" sourdough hoagie stuffed with meat, a cup of bbq sauce, and a cup of jalapeno pickles. My first inclination was to eat the "smaller" of the sides first (it's cut in half) because it looked like a reasonable portion. I was surprised at how heavy the "small" side felt in my hand. It was stuffed full of tender shredded brisket and jalapeno cheese sausage, both with a rich smokey flavor. The flavor of the perfectly smoked meat teamed with the sweetness of the sourdough bun. First, bite, amazing! I took another before I realized I could add the barbeque sauce and the pickles. Holy Smokes!, this combo is da bomb! I was only able to finish the "small" side because I had to make room for the homemade peach cobbler. This cobbler was the perfect end to a meal!
