(June 22, 2019, 3:40 pm)If you are looking for something other than the usual meat options in east Texas, Newk's is a pretty good choice. It is clean and the food quality is decent. There are lots of salad and soup options for those who are vegetarian but also good sandwiches and pizzas.

(June 15, 2019, 7:21 pm)Newk's has always been great. I am glad Lufkin got one a few years ago. The soups are great and hot. The turkey sandwich is my favorite because it has a special Creole mustard that makes the sandwich have a small kick. The staff is nice and the place is clean.
