Taqueria Puerto Vallarta

This is one of the better restaurants in this area. This restaurant serves good Mexican food as well as great hamburgers. This restaurant lacks in service. I had to ask for extra napkins twice at the counter. I was ignored on my 1st attempt. The waitress was a order taker & not too good on her services to our table of 6 people. After she wrote down our orders & she took it to the cooks she brought our meal ticket to our table& we never saw her again until I went to the counter to ask for refills on our ice teas. I'm not sure what came over me. As I was paying for everyone in our party's table I did leave her a 15% tip. Our lunch total came to about $88. & some change. I hope that in the future we will receive better service along with our terrific food. We have found in the restaurants we have eaten at since the restaurants have reopened for inside dining the waiter/waitresses have been extremely lazy. My wife had some issues at the Aransas Pass, TX Pizza Hut a couple days ago with the waitress. She paid for the beverages& food prior to sitting at the table. She & her friends got paper plates & plastic cutlery & a to go glass of ice tea. The waitress never returned to their table after bringing them their pizza. That waitress did not receive any tip. I usually tip based on the service that we receive from the waitress/waiter. As I earlier statement our food was perfect.

Best chicken fried steak we’ve had. Excellent service!

All the wait staff was very attentive even though they didn't wait on our table they wanted to know if we needed anything and if they could do something to make us more comfortable or bring to us. Food was delicious, place very clean, clean bathrooms. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend this place.

A very spacious restaurant with several tables and booth spaces for small to large group of customers.

Don't be fooled by her humble and lack lustre deco cause the dishes we had at our table is delicious with generous portion.

The peblano pepper in their Chile Relleno packed a good heat and pairs so well with the well seasoned shredded beef.

The burrito plate comes with a fairly large burrito, which can easily serve two person along with a side of guac, lettuce, and beans.

The chips, salsa and queso came quickly when we got seated though the refills did not. However, we didn't wait too long for our meal and so it's ok.
