Great BBQ without the 3 hour wait! The brisket was perfect; the lean cut was moist and flavorful and the fat end had the perfect amount of bark and sweetness from the rub. Pork ribs were equally good and had a different rub with deep smoke rings. I look forward to coming back and trying the smoked chicken!

Love, love, love the owner of this fun and delicious Texas BBQ joint. You MUST try the "butter roll" dessert. To die for!! I like the brisket. Good mac & cheese too. There is even truck parking if you use the shoulder directly across. You will often find 2-3 trucks parked there and the owner comes out to greet and invite you in himself when there is time. ♥

Delicious brisket, sausage & sides... oh, and the desserts... yummmmm! Fabulous, genuine, friendly service, felt like family.
Absolutely worth stopping by... as my wise 10yo foodie daughter says “small towns often have the best restaurants” ????

Must eat Texas BBQ! One of the best BBQs I've had in a long time. We had the brisket, chicken and sausage and all were excellent. His brisket was perfect. His chicken was one of the best I've ever had. We also enjoyed the side dishes.

The smoked brisket is great all by itself, and the lunch special fried fish is the best in the area. Try the green beans as a side I think they put something in it. It tastes great.
