Flying L Ranch Resort

As a meeting planner I highly recommend this venue for groups. Kathlyn Cunningham, the Events Manager is wonderful to work with and goes above and beyond to make your group feel special.

AMAZING STAFF! Everyone was so friendly and helpful. Restaurant food was very good. Amenities are lacking a bit, but they are working hard to make this a fantastic destination. Golf course isn't open yet and the water park will be closed all year, but driving range and pool are still open. This isn't meant to be a five star resort so don't expect luxury. It is a clean ranch with horses and more deer in a day than we could count.

This review is for the cabins on site. They're inexpensive compared to many hotels in the area and weren't busy. They are not well insulated, as such, they get hot and cold easily. There's not much to love or hate so yeah. The resort itself has very limited food service during the week, so expect to head into town most days. It's meh unless you find places like Jellystone interesting.

We arrived not knowing what to expect. My husband, 12 yo, 9 yo, 1 yo and myself had a blast. A little something for everyone.
Buck honestly made the entire stay. He had so much patience for the curious minds. He sang, played guitar and had a fire for s'mores.
Everyone we encountered at Flying L was amazing. You can tell they are short staffed (they were there from sun up to sun down then back again at sun up) but none of them seemed to really mind. Food was delicious.
The rooms weren't the greatest but it definitely had everything you need to stay. As long as you aren't expecting high class rooms, you'll be okay.
We definitely will be back soon!
