Guadalajara Mexican Restaurant

Love this place! The staff is extremely attentive and accommodating. They seat groups accordingly (families w kids away from couples!). The menu has offerings for everyone, and try their sangria margarita!

The food and service were great. I usually don't like margaritas, but the ones here were very good. The food was the right amount of spicy based on description and ingredients. Nice atmosphere.

We love this restaurant. Come here as often is allowable, and actually the only dine in sit down place in Bastrop we go to except maybe the bakery, but that's another review.
The waitstaff is very friendly and always happy to see us when we arrive and the entirety of our visit. Service is good and the food comes in a reasonable amount of time, not too fast or too slow. They are attentive to when you need refills on your drink of choice, or if you've run out of the complimentary chips and salsa. Never an issue for substituting items on the menu for other items. Did I even say about how good the food itself is? I don't think I did, so let it be known! And for the price point, you can't go wrong. You could easily spend the same amount for fast food which doesn't even compare to the quality of the foods you can get. All in all I recommend Guadalajara, but I don't want everyone to go there while I'm there, because I don't like crowds, so space yourself out but do give them a try!

We spent about $21 for one adult one child. We never received chips and salsa and not sure if we are suppose to order it or if it's an additional cost as an appetizer. I got the meatless meal and it was overly salty. Child plate was decent. We wanted some chips so ordered a small guacamole. It was fair. I didn't like that it was served over a bed of lettuce and when you went to dip you always got a scoop of lettuce. The service was very good. Food was okay. Not sure if I would come again.

Great experience. Arrive two hours before close with a large group. Very accommodating with a large group of family members. Food as hot and satisfying. Great customer service even with little children in our group.
