The service was great at this place. Staple style food but done super well and better ingredients. Loved the fry sauce as well. A solid place to go on a date and not spend too much. We will totally be going back!!

We really enjoy eating here! Food is always wonderful and the service is great (the employees are incredibly attentive and nice). Don't miss the fry sauce - in fact, order extra, because you're sure to want more! We will absolutely continue to come here on a regular basis.

I've been 3 times and had three different servers and all have been great. The pizzas are really good and the 1832 burger is a must have. Oh they have quite the beer selection. I highly recommend it.

Had lunch yesterday at the new Stem & Stone, across the street from the movie theater. It was really good! I had an awesome burger and hubby had a grilled panini. Both were excellent! Came with fries and a wonderful dipping sauce, which we are now calling "crack sauce." Lovely restaurant and bar. Several beers on tap, wines and even some sparkling. They don't have a full bar (yet) but a delightful place for lunch or happy hour.

Recently enjoyed lunch at Stem & Stone. The building is very inviting with plenty if off street parking available. The interior is clean and visually pleasing, but the food and drinks are superb. We had a personal pizza and the veggie burger. Both were delicious. I must admit we enjoyed the "flights" offered.My daughter had a wine flight, so I had a beer flight. Not all the wines and beers they offer are available for flights, but both have a large selection to enjoy. The owners obviously enjoy a little whimsy as noted by the "potty dancing" signs on the bathroom doors. Overall, a delightful change of pace to relax and enjoy. If you live in the Bastrop area enjoy frequently, and if traveling through then stop in for a visit. You will enjoy.
