Good food but lacking quality service staff
Our waitress Patti Lou was absolutely wonderful and we would come back just for her.
Great food, great atmosphere, great time. We will be back. Soon.
The food is always fantastic. Everything on the menu is very rich, but absolutely NEVER disappointing.
For a hotel restaurant this was easily as good as a highly rated restaurant you would see not attached to a hotel/resort.
I was there for a corporate event and we had a multi-course menu put together. The salad was unique in terms of ingredients and flavors.
Then they had a cheese (brie) appetizer that was fantastic.
Then they had mutliple main course options. I chose the wagyu strip steak - it was cooked perfectly and seasoned just right. Then they put this balsamic reduction on the plate that gave a really good sweetness in just the right amount.
Lastly, they had a great bourbon and scotch selection.
It was really good food, service was also good. The one knock I'd give it is it didn't make sense about reservations. I'd never been and showed up without a reservation first night and was told it was booked. I needed a table for 2. The next night had an opening only at 9pm. The next morning I checked for cancellations and they was one at 645pm so took that instead. Had fine dinner but when leaving around 8pm saw that outside there were 3 tables empty the whole time and inside there were tables empty. Seemed that table-wise there was availability for several slots. I get the need for reservations but seems like there were options I wasn't given.
