Excellent! Highly recommend this small dinner. The chicken fried steak with REAL mashed potatoes and cream gravy is an authentic and delicious 1960's old fashion diner. Companions voted an enthusiastic thumbs on every item. Onion rings and french fries were freshly prepared, not frozen from a bag.

Wow. Just wow. This place is amazing! The food is fantastic and we even spoke to the owner "Jay" and his passion for his food really shines through on the plate. Our
chicken fried steaks were battered and cooked to plate filling perfection and there wasn't a single item that wasn't excellent, onion rings, mashed potatoes, okra, boudin balls, honestly everything has been tuned and tweaked to a perfection that you must experience for yourself. They have only been open 6 weeks so far but this is destined to be one of Belton's hot spots. Not only is the food great but the location is actually Belton's old Railway station and it has been painstakingly restored to its original beauty and is a great piece of local history. Great prices too. I can't speak highly enough of this restaurant it is far above and beyond any reasonable expectation that one could have. It's truly a great place to eat.

This is hands down some of the best home cooked food! My husband said this is the best chicken fried steak he’s ever had. The customer service was amazing. Portions for the price are spot on. Chicken fried steak was so big they could only fit it and 2 pieces of toast on the first plate. We forgot to take a picture before we devoured it.

Wanted to try this place since it’s new. It’s in an old building. It was a little busy at 11:45 am on Saturday. There’s no place to wait for a table but of the weather is nice you can walk around and they will call you. And there is plenty of parking in the lot across the street.

We ordered the Katy Combo with regular cheese curds, okra and fried pickles; the Twisted Grilled Chicken, they were nice enough to sub the bacon for grilled onions, with the mashed potatoes and a side salad; the Hamburger Steak with mashed potatoes and okra.

They were still in their soft opening but service was fairly quick. The food was delicious and we will definitely be back.

Everything was delicious! Those onion rings were on point. I got the smallest hamburger on the menu and still couldn’t finish it all. Super cute diner and very friendly staff.
