american food and the scene at this location is excellent. Entered near ten, it was not crowded. Certainly worth going back to. The bill was reasonable.
Our 1st time to eat there and will not be the last. We loved it. For some good homecountry cooking this is the place to get it
I can't say enough good things about this place. Eating here is like eating my Mamaw's food. Pictured are potato skins; pork chop special; big boy omelet topped with sausage gravy; eggs, grits, and biscuit with gravy; Texas (chili) breakfast bowl topped with fried eggs; chicken and waffles; pancakes; corned beef hash with collard greens; cabbage and fried eggs; chicken and waffles again. This is bringing friends and family 4 times in 3 weeks. I'm on a mission to try everything on the menu.
The food is consistently spectacular. You will wait sometimes 30-45 for food but it's worth it because everything is made fresh. Every single thing in house is homemade. Absolutely nothing you eat here can disappoint. Expect to salt your own dishes because there are lots of elderly who eat here who prefer to salt their own food.
I like to support small business owners. Some places you have know what to order. I haven't found the perfect plate just yet. When I get through the menu I'll get back to you. So far, the home fries are top notch. Eggs over anyway are nicely done. The biscuits and gravy look amazing..
