Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen

We got seated within 5 minutes of walking into the building, we had a great waitress. My husband got his usual steak it came cooked just the way he wanted it. I ordered my salmon grilled with the bourbon glaze it came perfect it was the best piece of salmon I think I've ever had. To be honest I don't think I've ever had a bed meal here it's always been delicious. So glad they brought the baby carrots back.

We are visiting Killeen Texas. We are from California. I have to admit this is one of the finest restaurants I've ever been to. Not only is the food all fresh and made from scratch but the service is the best I've ever seen. I highly recommend if you're going to Texas do not eat anywhere else. The prices are unbelievably low for the food you get. As the name says is all made from scratch.

The food is good. The restaurant itself is nice. But if u are not black then don't expect good service. My wife and I got seated and waiters walked by several times. Then a black couple got seated and not even 15 seconds their waiter was at their table...

This is not the first time we noticed this.
So yeah staff is a little racist...

If u go in during daytime and the staff is mixed ... White black etc. The service experience is completely different.

Go at evening hours and most staff is black....be prepared to wait...and wait.

Really good food. The spinach dip appetizer is awesome. Better than the food is the service. If you go there be sure to get Whitney as your server, he is the best I've seen in a long time around here. Highly recommend. My wife is very picky and Whitney got everything perfect.
