Krab Kingz

The food was excellent in my opinion. It tasted really good. The sausage was juicy, the shrimp was savory, the crab had a bunch of meat, and the potatoes were soft and succulent. My ONLY complaint is the place was really dark. They need more lighting, including the bathrooms. Kind of creepy feeling. May just be me though. However, I loved the food, and definitely recommend it.

The FOOD is almost 5 star.

It's the other negatives about this place that drops it down to 3 stars.
Was up on the base when I remembered hearing about this place.
1. Went to the food truck (at a different location) that informed us to go to the new place. Should be noted on Yelp (for business)or Google maps. Especially since I came from Round Rock area.
2. While I went on an empty stomach, by the time the food came out, I was good and HANGRY!
3. Going on a Saturday evening is probably not the best time to go when you are close to starving.
4. There are no menus posted. It wasn't until you get to the register (of an already crowded line to order) to find out what to order.
5. The young lady taking the order, placing the order, giving you your change and trying to get your drinks, probably should not be talking to her friend about 5am shenanigans when there are customers waiting.
6. Her inattentiveness to the customer and giving incorrect change (DESPITE USING THE CELL PHONE FOR A SIMPLE MATH PROBLEM) to bump her gums with with her buddy is probably not the smartest idea.
7. We had to wipe off our own dirty table.
8. The wait for our food was over an hour long ????
9. When the food finally came out (on cardboard school lunch trays) I was expecting it to be cool or even cold. Surprisingly, it was not.????
10. Asked for crab crackers and was told it costs $1.00 ????
11. We were given the little plastic red crab pick. Used for getting the meat out of the shell but nothing for getting the shell opened.
12. Paper towel rolls (and Purell) were on the table to clean your hands. As you can see, the top of the bottle can get pretty nasty from previous use. Probably would do better with wetnaps
13. I will give this place another try because the food was really good. But, not on a weekend and definitely not when starving.
