I am very happy and satisfied! Portions are plenty. I ordered Oxtails and Jerk Chicken. The food was very flavorful!! Meat is tender! Definitely coming back whenever I want Caribbean Food!

Really enjoyed their brown stew fish. Very friendly staff. Make sure to pre-order any seafood dishes as they are made to order.

Great food! I used to frequent Ava’s Jamaican Restaurant but I think the business is under new management and I can tell. Food is nowhere as good anymore and customer service when I visited was less then par. So on my quest to find a new Island restaurant I stumbled upon 1Luv...thank you Jesus is all I can say...this place is bomb ,seasonings are bomb, and customer service is great. This is my new spot...love the oxtails yassss

So. I'm from Miami and lived in Philadelphia for few years as well. Never have I ever had oxtails with rice & peas for me to have oxtails left over after eating my my rice!!!!! The price you pay is so worth it! They taste is so flavorful and taste like I it was a homemade meal. Though I took my plate to go, sitting and waiting for my coworker to make her mind up, the atmosphere was very calm. Only thing I'd say was a down fall, is I showed up at 2:30/3pm and I wasn't able to get fried fish when I showed up because the cook was gone for the day that's the only reason why I gave it a 4 star vs a 5.
