I go there for lunch sometimes because I work in the mall. Some days are better then others, but always good. Wait staff is excellent!
Excellent service, and the best steak we have eaten in the 9 years we have been in this area. Their garlic butter shrimp bests Red Lobster shrimp scampi by a mile. The best Cotton Patch we've ever been to. Will definitely be going back.
Improvement over last time, took a long time to receive our food probably because one of the four of us ordered fried fish. This only resulted in some cold food for others. Did ask dinner to be microwave to heat up. Service has improved, our waitress was good.
Cotton Patch has great, friendly service. Food was hot and delicious. Large variety of dishes to choose from.
For starters, Jimmy and I shared an order of fried dill pickles that were hot, very crispy with the batter, and not greasy at all.
Jimmy chose the the new skillet steak, with mushrooms and sauce over mashed potatoes that came with fried okra, and he also chose a side of black eyed peas.
I had the chicken fried chicken breast that was large, very crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, served with their white gravy. My two sides were old fashioned green beans and garlic mashed potatoes.
We got a skillet of their new cornbread with cheese, jalapeno, and corn. If you like your cornbread a little on the sweet side, it's great. Our preference, is no sweetness to the cornbread.
Our server, Haley, checked on us often to make sure we didn't need anything. She was very knowledgeable regarding the dishes on the menu. Very friendly, courteous, and pleasant.
This was my third visit to the Cotton Patch Cafe.
The food and service has always been consistent.
I love Cotton Patch! It has that down home feel to it. The food is made to order and tastes like home. I like the Shiner Bock fish basket and the chicken fried chicken. You can't go wrong here whether you're looking for comfort food or a salad.
