    This place has great flavors for a great price. I was also happy with the service and the cleanliness of the restaurant. I would definitely recommend this if you are in the Temple area.

    Very tasty food with medium to large size portions. The price is on the high end for the quality, but I will be going back again.

    We visited this restaurant last Sat for the first time, driving from Crawford TX to Temple. The food was OK but the service could be better. We dined on the premises but also ordered take out. When we got home we discovered that they were stingy on the portion of Sambar they gave us, half container. That was a disappointment. We will go to Roopa's again, it is the only Indian restaurant in Temple and we are happy they operate or we will have to drive to Austin for Indian food.

    Enjoyed the visit! As far as authenticity of the food - I'm not an expert so I don't know, but it was delicious. Super spicy, next time I'd get my food medium : ) Ambience could use some work, maybe dim the lights especially for dinner. Definitely worth going back to again
