Bobby J's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

So glad we stopped in here. Just moved to Helotes and have heard great things so we decided to try it. They have a big menu with lots of options. They make everything fresh to order so there is a short wait for your food. It is well worth it though. The food tasted great. The burger wasn't greasy. Will definitely be coming back often. Highly recommend this place for a great burger experience.

I was really surprised and impressed by how much they have to accommodate different diets. In addition to the classics, they have four kinds of vegetarian burgers and gluten free buns (that actually tasted good)! My finicky diet is usually met with confusion and rolling eyes, but the staff here was understanding and accommodating. Nice to find a burger joint that has something for me AND my burger-loving-Texan husband!

Great atmosphere and decor. The hamburgers Taste of Vine and not greasy. The hamburgers are large. Wonderful customer service. I would recommend this place to everyone.

This is easily one of the best hamburger joints in town. They have a broad selection of different specialty burgers that range in size from 1/3 lb to 1/2 lb with a monster 5lb burger for those brave enough to try their luck. Their sides are also excellent, they have some of the best friend okra I've ever had and that's saying something coming from a boy raised in Louisiana.

A hidden gem that feels like you've escaped the big city of San Antonio and stepped in Grandma's farmhouse kitchen. The food was great and there was a lot of it. Plus you can't beat fresh baked goods every Friday. We can't wait to go back. It might become our new family tradition.
