King Buffet

Food and service was fabulous. Will be coming back. I'd say this is the best Chinese buffet in San Antonio.

The food is good the prices are okay we kind of got in late and they were closing down the sushi bar and the lady that was handling it refused to make my daughter the Sushi she likes. They were kind enough to give us a small discount but I didn't go there for a discount I went there to make sure my daughter got her sushi. Anyhow it's a good restaurant and we go there every time I'm home from the field and we will continue to go there I expect the next visit will be a little bit more memorable for the right reasons

Good variety of common favorites. I hit the sushi bar twice. Although I didn't see any labels I enjoyed what I got.

Service was ok. We were in a group of 14 and after comparing notes concluded we were not asked for drink refills. Could have been a busy Saturday night.

Speaking of busy, expect a bustling crowd of customers given it's a buffet place. It can feel loud, overwhelming. Kids unsupervised around the food areas (picture a mess in the making @ the ice cream machine).

Good place to eat. Food was good and attended to. Our server was prompt to remove plates and refill dinks. I've eaten at a few other buffets and this one has better options and the food is better.

I rather enjoyed my first, but certainly not my last, visit to King Buffet. There is plenty of food and the majority of it tastes good.It's very rare to go get food and whatever dish it is is empty. They are very quick on replacing the empty dishes. There is a Mongolian grill and a decent spread of sushi (for a buffet). I can't give five stars as it is only a better than average buffet, not blow my socks off with flavor. All in all, I will be going back for both better than average buffet food and a respectable price.
