    The Tomato Bisque was raved about by the cashier when I asked about it. And I had to agree it was all that he said it was the food and service was great. Will definitely be going back soon.

    Good place to eat, a little more money than a fast food restaurant. Great sweet tea selections including flavored tea. (Peach, raspberry)

    If you read my other reviews on various eateries around San Antonio, you know that I am partial to Fresh Veggies, and good cooking. McAlister's Deli is one of my favorite delis in the Bexar County area. Their veggies are fresh, the spuds are cooked just right, or so it seems. Prices are quite reasonable, service is good and so far every employee I have interacted with has been polite and considerate. All in all a wonderful place for lunch or dinner with a lot of choices

    Great menu, efficient, friendly staff, and the best French dip I've had in a long time. My husband loved his Reuben, too! Clean tables and the place was not noisy. (These things are important to your "senior" clientele! ????) I only have one teensy suggestion: the cheddar broccoli soup was not hot enough. Other than that, it was well worth the drive.

    The staff are nice. The food is not up to par. I expect that restaurant food should be better than what I make at home. Mine is better.
