The Blockhouse

Food was very good. Took a while to get our coffee and water, but once our order was in food order was quick. Was not offered a refill on coffee and with omelette an included piece of toast or a biscuit would be a good addition.

I'm really glad this place opened. I had the spicy chicken sandwich and was really good. Had homemade pickles, the whole thing was fresh and delicious. The bun was awesome too. Top it off with a sweet iced tea, good meal. They have a lot of coffee options and brunch options too

The best waffle I’ve ever had hands down. My friend had the eggs Benedict, the hollandaise sauce was so creamy and everything was full of flavor. You have to get the fried green tomatoes, perfect crispy batter and came with pimento cheese sauce. The staff was super friendly and definitely keeping up with the covid guidelines. Next time we come to San Antonio for a trip I am absolutely stopping here again!

Food was very delicious, a lot of flavor. Have all kinds of coffee drinks and hot cocoa. I recommend you get there and grab yourself a delicious meal.

Great place to eat and enjoy the view. We have already been there twice since they opened. Got halfway thru the salad before I took a pic because it was so amazing! Biscuits and gravy this morning were the "best ever"! If you are a tea drinker, the tea was really, really good. We may be back just for the tea. Clean. Super friendly staff/service.
