El Mirasol

Very good experience and nice atmosphere. It was busy when we went but we were seated immediately. They had chips, salsa, and 2 margaritas on our table less than 5 minutes after we arrived. Timing of drinks, appetizer, and entrees was perfect. Excellent food!

Food and service were very good. If you're wine drinker, don't expect anything other than a rudimentary selection of a couple of reds and whites. Although the food and service were great, the environment was excruciatingly loud. So loud that we couldn't hear each other at our table. In fact I deliberately yelled a couple of times and no one in the room noticed. They really need to work on the room design to reduce the sound reflections.

Great margaritas and shrimp taco appetizers. I like all the different flavors of salsa especially the roasted pepper and cilantro. My dinner was exceptional. I had the 1/2lb seafood grill (2d item under the grill menu) was so delicious and the amount of food was worth the price.

Great spot! Lots of outdoor seating. Food was delicious. Might be one of my favorites in town.

This has long been my favourite Mexican restaurant in San Antonio. The food is delicious and the service is wonderful. The room is clean and the margaritas are exemplary. We have been coming for over ten years and have never ever been disappointed. Tried the mole sauce for the first time -- wow! I have trouble getting past the chipotle and cilantro sauces because they are so good -- but I am so glad I tried the mole.
