I can’t say enough great things about this place. The ownership is engaged and it shows. The employees are always friendly and helpful. There are always lunch specials to help out the budget conscious.

If you are a repeat customer, it doesn’t take long for the staff to recognize you, know your drink, food and table preference. The meals are cooked to order and they have great portions. Everything is delicious.

This place is like coming home and getting a big hug. This is a must stop every time I’m back in San Antonio.

First time I was there. Went for lunch with a friend and the place was pretty crowded. Server was attentive, food came out quick and was pretty good. Prices are very reasonable. I may go back again

This is a truly great local Mexican restaurant owned and operated by a mom-and-pop pair. The food is top notch - the chips & salsa were especially tasty - as well as sized well.

While our waitress was friendly and engaging, she did need us to remind her about a few items we'd ordered. To her credit, she was attentive without being overbearing.

The vibe in Lupita's is a bit of a throwback in terms of decor and environment. The diners all seemed like regulars, which speaks volumes as to quality and care of what and how they serve.

One of the best local neighborhood Mexican food restaurants in San Antonio. Across from Southwest Research Institute, you can't miss it on Culebra. Cheese enchiladas are the best!! Chips and warm salsa are the starter to a great meal. Mom and Pop family owned, not fancy , just really good food!
