Very cozy and comfortable setting, the food was made fresh it wasnt a long wait. Cheese soup was seasoned perfect. Onion rings were not expected because they are sweet onions. We asked for replacement and the manager politely apologized. It was our fault for not looking what kind of onions Haha. Overall it was great.
Great waitress (Mandy)! We all thought the cooks did a good job with our meals. One of the best things about Jim's is you can hear people talk, they keep the music lower.
Outstanding place for delicious American food. Excellent spot to spend time alone or talk business. I've had nothing but pleasant experiences here and plan to keep coming back. It has a cool feel to it.
This was a random find--- but oh, what a find! The looks of this diner from the outside til you step into the doors has an old fashion, Hollywood movies feel. The decor is simple but classic.
I came at 6am and a few folks were in there. Upon walking in, the waitress Carol gave me a warm smile and welcome. She immediately offered a cup of hot coffee as though she read my mind. The menu is large and assorted and they serve breakfast all day. I ordered the Jim's Quickie Breakfast that came with eggs, and diced sausage. I got the egg substitute because I can't eat egg yolk. I was very pleasantly surprised they even offered egg substitute. Most places I've visited to include high end chains don't.
The food came out looking like something straight from my grandma's table! It was delicious! The waitress was absolutely amazing. She served that entire diner solo and I never had an empty cup of coffee and she did it all with a smile as if we were in her home.
If you are looking for high end fancy, this might be the stop. But if you enjoy down home, classic diner feel and food, this is the place. By far the most wonderful breakfast experience since moving back to the US.
Jim's is usually good. I really only go there for a breakfast they have on the menu. Its sunny side up eggs with fries and chili topped with cheese & salsa plus bacon or something. Great breakfast!!! Now I'm hungry!!
