Church's Chicken

Church's was great. Because I'm from out of state and my location doesn't have a Church's. So eating some good chicken again was great.

The only reason I don't give it 5 stars is because it is run down and dingy- however, the staff is always very pleasant, the food 9s great, and most importantly, they've always gotten my order correct. The building may not be much to look at, but it is one of the best Chuchs' in town!

The chicken was hot & fresh. Problem was I had to wait almost 30 minutes for it. They had NO Jalapeno Bombers... Really??. The gal that took my order seemed genuinely embarrassed about the lack of bombers. There was this other person wandering around the store with ear buds in either talking to someone on a Bluetooth device or singing along with her digital media (probably management). Very unprofessional. The young man who delivered my 20 piece family order out to my car when it was complete was very courteous and it was a damned cold night for here in San Antonio. So no 5 stars for the long, cold wait. Half off for the singing and dancing buffoon in the window and another half off for no Bombers. C'mon man! Really?

This place will do everything possible to make your visit a pleasant one. Happy staff. If they dont have a item on the menu ready, they will try to get it to you as fast as possible.
