Mellow Mushroom

Went on a Friday night around 630 and waited only 5 minutes. The atmosphere is nice and relaxed. My waitress was very sweet and helped with choosing my drinks. I tried the Dank Drank (made with rum) which tasted kind of funky. I went with what she recommended, the Peach Paloma (tequila) and it was so tasty. For an appetizer i had pesto, cheesy bread, and main course for me was the veggie pizza (a Medium in pic). They have vegan substitutes like tofu and tempeh, and a large selection of beers and wines.

The half order of oven roasted wings were perfect for lunch. It came with 5 wings, a few small baby carrots, and a little bit of celery. Great deal for six bucks. The wings were great - juicy and flavorful. Our server was also great!

Depending on the type of pizza you like mellow mushroom could be one of your favorite pizzas in town. They have a thick flavorful dough that they use and It gives the pizza a different feel compared to other pizza places. It is a little bit more expensive but it's a worth it for a pizza that's made with good quality ingredients.

There other food like burgers and hoagies aren't too bad either if you go in a group and aren't feeling like eating pizza but none of those things will blow you away or anything. It can get busy here on weekends so make sure you have plenty of time when you come here then. The staff have always been good servers and hosts as well so the overall experience here has been a very positive one.

Always excellent food. Best pizza chain I know. I don't like paying for eating out when the food isn't worth the cost, and Mellow Mushroom delivers every time. The drink prices are also reasonable, with specials that can save you some money. They were short staffed, but food still came out great.

I recently visited Mellow Mushroom in Tampa and the food prices were a little higher at this one. But the owner informed me that the food price has actually decreased at this location. Either way, it cost a little more than I wanted to take my family out. That said, still an excellent experience and the pizza is spectacular, which is the most important factor. Highly recommended.

Vegan, Gluten Free, allergies ... let your helpful server know. This place is Mellow and gives off a fun vibe.
I have when my pizza arrives as a burnt hockey puck. HOWEVER, I was able to enjoy a g.f. pizza that was made using the crust from ', Ancient Grains'. My husband enjoyed Magic Mushrooms 13 veggie pizza. I have to say ... the staff said to please.
Also, join the reward program ... they had a Valentine's Day deal when we went ... and I also received a couple coupons for my birthday!!!
Who doesn't enjoy savings on a special day!!
