I definitely suggest trying Kneaders if you can. We've only been here for breakfast so far, but it was absolutely delicious. They only serve breakfast until 11, which I did think was a little odd for a place with so many bread products, but it's still worth it. We love the cinnamon raisin french toast. Not only was it delicious, especially when paired with the caramel, whipped cream, and super thin strawberries, but it's also all you can eat while you dine-in.
What I really, really enjoyed about this place, aside from that breakfast, is the environment. There are so many windows that, no matter where you're sitting you have this open, airy feel around you. There's a lovely fireplace that I imagine would be quite nice to be around during the winter, with all the winter smells. There was also a cute set up area for what I believed to be Easter baskets. So not only do they have a much favored year round menu, they also have seasonal offerings for you. Again, I highly recommend checking this place out for yourself. I don't think you'll be disappointed.
Try the breakfast. Cinnamon bread as French toast is already brilliant. But they don't stop there -- they add strawberries and real whipped cream and give you a caramel sauce to pour over it.
Lunch is pretty tasty, too. They have an option that includes a pastry item with your meal. The chocolate mousse is amazing, but there are many other options available.
Their mocha latte is one of the best I have had. The coffee to chocolate ratio is just right!
Today I had a combination lunch. I chose the 1/2 portion of their Southwest BBQ Chicken Salad along with a cup of their San Marzano Tomato Basil Soup. To wash it down, I had a glass of their unsweetened Organic Black Tea.
This salad is nothing compared to any other salad I’ve had. It boasts a great grilled chicken (sliced), Roma style tomatoes, corn, black beans, red onions, tortilla strips and sliced avocados topped with a great tasting barbecue sauce as the dressing. If your feeling spicy, you can add the Cotija Cilantro Dressing that comes along in a sealed one ounce container.
The soup is equally pleasing; bursting with flavor just as a tomato basil soup should be.
Now, I’m a steak and potatoes kind of guy, but this combination lunch I just had left me filled up without that bloated feeling.
Although this establishment is a great place to eat healthy, they have the guilty pleasures needed just in case there’s that one person in your party that faints at the sight of healthy food.
For a limited time, you can indulge in their Irish Stew and Irish Specials. There are also a variety of great tasting sandwiches and sweet deserts to go along. If your wanting to take any of these guilty pleasures home with you, they have these sweets available in whole quantities.
Looking for something to give as a gift? They have a gift wrapping center so that you can have your loaf of bread or sheet of sweets wrapped up I style.
We like to go for the unlimited french toast on Saturday mornings. Seriously so good. Staff is nice and kind. Great place.
