    I wish they had better options on what to put on top of my favorite cheese enchiladas. I like the gravy without meat.

    El Tipico is such an icon to anyone on the SE side of San Antonio. I'm 54 and recall going to eat here when I was jus a lil girl. Although I still live on the SE side I don't make it to El Tipico as often as before, but each time I do it takes me to find memories of my youth! Always great food and friendly service. Thanks for the great memories!

    my first time. good food. reasonable prices. real sweet tea. clean restaurant. clean rest room. good parking. can't miss restaurant from the street. nice staff. I plan to go back again.

    Absolutely the best Tex-Mex in San Antonio. I've lived here for over 40 years and still cannot find any better Mexican food than this place! The service is always excellent, the prices are very reasonable, and the food is out of this world!

    Wait staff is very attentive and professional. And manager on duty was very polite. The restaurant itself could use reorganizing. It is a nice place but looks messy with restaurant supplies in view. The food is good but could be better. The lunch specials are a good value. Plenty of parking, easy to get in and out.
