Fred's Fish Fry

A San Antonio staple, this restaurant has been around for years. For those who love seafood, this is the place to go. Price wise, it's a bit pricey but the food, in my opinion, is worth it. Some may say it's not real seafood but, if you try it, it's good. If you're used to filets like Long John's or portions like Red Lobster's, then you may not enjoy Fred's. Fred's filets are flat and rectangular served with fries and slices of bread with tartar sauce n lemon. If you're open minded, give it a try.

Good fish and ask for extra crispy onion rings there delicious. Great service!

The food is super fresh --- prepared when you order it. The staff ia friendly and very helpful. The establishment is clean

Flores st location we love them they serve with love. We miss our old location, but we love go to pleasanton rd. So sweet,kind, treat you like family. Thank you from My family especially my grand kids. Oh love your seasoned fries best in town . Your original tea was so so good I to get there early to buy 2gallons but you change it .wish you bring the original tea back. Thanks. My son and his family come across town from la sonterra to get Fred's from this location.
