The South Chicken & Waffles

Great food! They of course offer more than just chicken and waffles but had to try the red velvet waffles and chicken strips. Very tasty!!
It is a little hidden but I love the placement, outside seating isn't by the surface roads so it's less noisy. Overall all between food, staff, and ambiance definitely worth it! Will go back

You should definitely come here. Delicious food. Great waffles. All day breakfast. The only problem I have is it's a little pricier and the shrimp I had as an appetizer was good, but not tasty or substantial enough to warrant 8 dollars. Get the ice cream waffle sandwiches for dessert

Very friendly staff. Nick is A1 definitely recommend. The food was really good and seasoned. This building is pretty small but the overall experience is fantastic. Its very casual and warm which I really like. My family and I had a really good time. We tried a few things fron the menu and everything was great. If you have one in your area do give it a try. Just be sure you go early because some items are limited and you don't want to miss out. The fried pickles were delicious and crispy. The fried fish and chips were seasoned well and the chicken wing dinner was fantastic. The red velvet waffles and chicken was good. The lemonade is the best also so definitely give it a try.

I have driven by the Callaghan location probably a thousand times and never knew it was open because of the leasing sign on the front of the building, but I am so glad I investigated today and found this gem! There’s a very quaint dining area, an outdoor area, and a bar! The food was fantastic, and the wait staff were friendly, prompt, and professional. I was very comfortable sitting at the bar reading my book, and they kept my coffee hot and water full. I had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back!

They offer mimosas and have a nice bar.
The menu has a great selection of southern delicacies. I had the shrimp and grits and it was more than I expected! The grits were perfectly cooked, rich, slightly buttery but not greasy. The shrimp also came with sausage bites, onion and bell peppers in this amazing gravy. A homemade biscuit was offered on the side. My fiance had chicken and waffle sliders, the chicken was juicy AND crispy! The waffles were fluffy and it was topped with the right amount of powdered sugar.
I can't wait to go back! This is a place I would bring my friends from out of town!!!
The food is THAT GOOD!
