Long John Silver's

Love love loved it, food is fresh, plentiful and delicious. Employees are very helpful and friendly.

In days gone by,  Long John Silvers was the seafood place to go.   This chain was once  scattered all over San Antonio but over the years  its  number of restaurants have been  reduced to a handful.  Nearest to us now is Long John Silvers on Walzem Rd.   Ignore the staggering  calories of their meals if you want to eat delicious, tasting seasoned fish/shrimp/chicken combinations.    The batter or breading is so good,  complementing  the main menu item.   This restaurant is one of the older restaurants but their  dining & restrooms were being maintained.  It was   clean except for a recent ice spill (safety)  on the floor leading to extra seating & restrooms.  Today we ordered at the counter  a Seafood Plate of Fish & Shrimp with two sides (1290 calories)  and a  Fish & More.   With a 15% Senior Discount, we paid  $16.44.   The order was brought from the kitchen  to our table with a smile.   We will continue to patronize  this Long John Silvers.

Expensive, is one of the best description of long johns. For the price okay service not good at all. It is what it is. Don't make me feel good about visiting people. I've gone several times in last year and let me say, go for the fish not who is going to help you. Always out of things at the self help service bar. Fish is good chicken is good.

Haven’t been to this one on Walzem and I have to say outstanding!!! Food was hot, fresh, delicious!!! Definitely will back!!! And staff was on point! You guys are amazing at what you do!!

We were a party of 2. The fast food restaurant was slow when we arrived. We were greeted immediately. The cashier was friendly. The digital menu moves fast but eventually, everyone found something they wanted to order. Our table was clean and ready for guests when we sat down. The restaurant had good atmoshpere that was welcoming and comforable. The bathrooms were clean, supplied and had a pleasant aroma. The drink station was clean and fully stocked. The fountain drinks were cool, refreshing with a good drink-to-ice ratio. All of the food came out at the same time, was hot, made-to-order, and delicious. The pace of the meal was perfect. Overall, a great dining experience.
