Paesanos Lincoln Heights

I have been coming here with my family for years and I love it every time. Everything I have ever gotten has been wonderful but my favorite is the steak and shrimp paesano. Love their garlic bread but you have to ask for it. They bring out amazing breads with olive oil to dip in and they sell them by the loaf as well. All different kinds, something for everyone. Their house salad dressing is amazing too I even craved it while pregnant. Just writing this review is making me want to go! Great for parties as well. We had our rehearsal dinner there and my in laws got married there as well.

Love the grilled or fried calamari here! Very unusual (in a good way) - they are like little steaks, not the rings and tidbits you're used to getting at restaurants. Both 54th e kitchen and service us great here. I ordered side of steamed spinach (not on menu), and was no problem and even came with a lemon wedge, which helped cut the bitterness of the spinach. If someone in your party has dietary restrictions, this would be a great place to go. They didn't miss a beat with the modifications of my order or my off-the-menu order. Oh, and the orchids are crazy beautiful!

This was my first visit to Paesanos & I will definitely be back. We had the Paesanos shrimp & it was the best shrimp I've ever had - crunchy, buttery, lemony & garlicky. Top notch service from the manager, to the wait staff and bus staff. It was a great experience I'm a highly recommend it to anyone looking for an excellent Italian food experience.

Fantastic food.. Ian our waiter was on the spot. There when you need him, but not interrupting. We will ask for his area again. Such a relaxing atmosphere. Couldn't even think about desert. Will make sure we can next time!!!
