    Despite the Friendly Staff...

    I simply do not understand why this restaurant is rated so highly by so many because the food is simply passable.

    I ordered the staple of any such restaurant - a gyro, and I found it to be not that great. The meat was dry and chewy and the pita bread was okay.

    The Greek salad was pretty good.

    The interior was dingy but not dirty.

    Again - nothing special, but okay for the price.

    One of the first restaurants we went to when we moved to San Antonio. They were so welcoming, really friendly, and the food was wonderful. The lamb was the best part

    Friendly service and military discounts. I had the gyro delux and it was glorious. The sauce and taste blended enough to melt your emotions into splendor.

    Probably my most favorite restaurant in S.A. I come here often. The chicken is sooooo very good. And the lunch special has just the right amount of everything. And maybe the best fries in S.A.
