Best Chicago style food in San Antonio! I work for a big company headquartered in Chicago so i work with mostly Chicago transplants and we place big orders quite a bit anytime anybody in the office says they are going everyone else in the facility starts to pop up and add on to the order we have tried others in town but nobody could compare The Beef here is second to none! Grabbed a village salad (fantastic and refreshing) and a Chicago dog. Both hit the door exactly as I had hoped. My girl got a chicken pita with feel salad which she absolutely loved. Stumbled on this place one day watching San Antonio places on Diners, Dives and drive-ins and just happened to be in the area. It was pleasant seeing the owner running tables as well. Love establishments like that and look forward to coming back again to grab myself the Polish dog.

Being a Chicago native , I can't get home often. It's refreshing to drive over to Wrigleyville and get authentic Chicago food. But the best part is Jimmy the owner serving with a smile. There are other Chicago style restaurants here in SA but you never see the owner. Jimmy is the draw card for me .

Saw them on the Triple D, for those that don't know that's Diners, Dives and Drive-Ins. We were coming to San Antonio and added this place to stop. Wasn't disappointed. Food was great! Owner chatted with us for a bit. Chicago dogs are on point! My son had the Meatball Sandwich abs he devoured it! They tasted just like being back in Chi-Town! Next time getting the Italian beef dipped! My kinda place!
