Celeste, my waiter, made my family and I feel welcome. She was always attentive. The family sirloin meal was PERFECT! The sirloin was cooked just right with a tenderness you can only get at the Barn. I got the fully loaded baked potato as my side and that hit the spot right on! ???? The tea is the icing on the cake...
I've come here for birthday's, family reunion, or when I simply want a good steak. Without a doubt one of the best steakhouses!
They are very nice. It works a little different.....they put salads in front of you first thing so if you aren't going to eat full a meal you need to tell them asap. Food was good. Drinks were good.
Wife and I decided to try it out on vacation. Picked here due to it being a 'local tradition' type place. Was not disappointed in the least. The steak was easily one of the best I've ever had. I love my A1, but only used it on a few pieces due to loving it that much. The cheesecake afterwards was just as phenomenal. Service was top notch as well.
Quite a throwback; worth every tasty mile back down memory lane! The rooms are as open as the hearts and smiles of the great folks that work there! Small touch, but to sit down at your table where the dinner salad greets you...in a CHILLED bowl! And then out come the pitchers of house-made dressings. And the steak!?!?! I did the 12 oz sirloin, and it was simply one of the best I've ever eaten. Their rolls are amazing an complement to the meal. Find this place and go. You'll be glad you did!
I'd like to rate higher. First the good. Solid, friendly service. Nice atmosphere. Generous on the bread, butter, crackers. Salad dressings are made there I think, and the garlic and ranch are very good. But... and I'm no expert I admit, but my medium rare steak came out more like medium well. Barely any pink in the center. Not tender. This isn't the first time either I've been here and felt it was over-cooked. This place is pretty popular though so take this review with a grain of salt.
