All the food is excellent. The turkey is nice and moist, where most other places it's pretty dry. The brisket and pulled pork was delicious as well. The Mac and cheese is fantastic, it is super creamy and has bits of brisket in it. My wife had the brisket grilled cheese and said it was amazing. Only downside is the place is super small so it's hard to find seating even if it's only moderately busy.

Oh my goodness. Let me explain something right now. If you want some freaking delicious bar b q, DO NOT HESITATE and eat here!!! The pulled pork, the Mac and cheese, the brisket. It's all delicious. Made my visit to my kid perfect, and better than some random chain restaurant. I'm getting hungry for it again as I write this review ????????. They are super organized about ordering, friendly and just awesome. Believe it or not, as a new Yorker, I am crazy about my BBQ. Discovering this place was like finding Nirvana or Mecca or Heaven. Go there. Now. Eat!!!
Solid BBQ at an affordable price. Tried all their meats and the best are the ribs and sausage, with the brisket being decent but very dependent on if you get a fatty piece or not. Service staff were also incredibly friendly and definitely elevated the experience to the next level.
People come to San Antonio to see the Alamo, the river walk, six flags, sea world etc. I would argue that the smoke shack is just as memorable as those places. The food here is eye watering good. The brisket, the pulled pork, unbelievable Mac n cheese, out of sight potato salad. I’m making myself hungry....
