Smokin' Joe's of Texas

The people were nice and the food was good but it didn't quite live up to the level that I was expecting. The food was good but not great. I didn't care for the vinegar-based carolina-style sauce. Don't get me wrong, I love me some good barbecue but I like mine on the bold and spicy side. This was cooked well and tender but didn't really stand out to me. It just didn't seem to have much flavor. Seemed to lack any kind of rub or even salt and pepper. On the other hand, there was nothing bad about the food, I was simply hoping for something more, to make it stand out. As far as I'm concerned it's just another one of the many BBQ joints in Texas that are good but not really great. The place is cute and all in all a good experience.

I give this place a 5 star. Everything tasted so good. It was just me and my husband. We got the chopped BBQ with sausage, potato salad and ice tea. OMG, this meal was a blessing with great service. You all have to go check this place out. It's a small comfy place to eat inside and outside and additional parking in the back. This was our first time at the comfy restraunt and we will be going back. We live by Medina road and 410, but we will definitely be going back. The owner is a darling....She was really nice. At first we thought she was a customer..lol...turns out she's the owner.

Very clean dining area. A patio in the front with tables. Excellent service and great ribs. I'll definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

When you gotta satisfy that brisket craving, this is the place. Chicken and sausage also great choices. Cozy space. Parking can be tight during peak times. Some items may sell out towards end of week and near closing time.

Awesome Potato salad and everything else. Customer service 100 ????. Enjoy the kind staff and to bring a smile to everyone including me after a long day after work. Love all the food here. Telling my friends how AWESOME your food is over here ????
