March 4th 2019. Wow. I just found this place and what a treasure! The owner greeted me with a big "Buenos Dias Amigo!" Which was wonderful! And then I proceded to the counter to order my Sunday ritual for my folks which is one pound of barbacoa, and a pack of corn and one of flour tortillas. My car instantly had that oh so yummy aroma of fresh tortillas and barbacoa (it's a Mexican Sunday thing) and then the true test: my parents! Let me tell you: the both raved about how wonderfully tender and non-greesey the meat was, we all ate until we couldn't eat any more! Dear god, and there were plenty of left overs for lunch time sandwiches too. And this is why I'm giving them 5 big bright gold stars! Can't wait until next Sunday.....sure hope this is how the food is every weekend! Ron Rendon. San Antonio native.

The best in town been coming for years with my parents,now my mom passed on Jan 10 2018 and I was craving because it reminded me of her.She always loved to buy on Sundays.Always excellent for tamales and barbacoa never too much manteca. I will continue tradition with my own children

You want some great barbacoba. This is the place. Awesome food and best one I've been too in a long time. Can't wait to go back.

The Barbaco was by far the best. It is prepared in a large stainless steel cooking vessel that can hold up to seven hundred pounds. It is made simple and done right. You must try it.
