Max and Louie's New York Diner

Excellent place. First time there. Large party & I was late but my meal came out with the others without compromising the others food. I had the turkey dinner (who has turkey other than Thanksgiving?) and cheesecake to take home. The other plates were just as good. Servings were large so come hungry or be ready to take some home. Some pictures attached of those nearest me (I had already taken a bite of mine). The other side of the table had breakfast (served all day) pancakes (so delicious), loks and bagels, meatloaf & I can't remember what else. Will definitely be back to try some of their other dishes.

The place was packed but the wait is not long. Great service. I had eggs with pastrami potato hash, it was a little oily but still good, and it was served with fruit which I liked. My husband had the eggs Benedict and he thought that was really good. I liked the ambience.

This is the best diner I have been to in years. The portions are MASSIVE, its definitely not cheap to eat here, but you can easily split any entree or take home your leftovers. Everyone here is friendly and the food is so fresh. Their menu is huge! I would love to try everything they offer. We had matzo ball soup, do good, its served with chicken noodle. Also the chili is very tasty, nice and thick. The sandwiches are massive, we had a club and the corned beef with coleslaw, very good, nice thick slices of meat. Also their hotdogs are huge. Lastly the m&m cookie is huge, soft and delicious. We can't wait to go back. The service was also top notch.

Not only is the diner a clean, fun place to eat, but it has great management .Mr. Andy came up and asked "is this your first visit?" I asked how he could tell that it was and he said "because I know everyone here." Before we left he asked if we were returning the next day. He was right! We brought our friends who visited from Houston .Andy remembered us and treated us like we had been customers for years. The food is very good too. Be prepared to take home leftovers. Just bring your Tupperware. Great atmosphere! Try Drew's cocktail.

This Diner has been around forever and never fails to deliver. The food is outstanding and great value for money. Not the largest place but very comfy and homey. Service is efficient and fast and friendly. All the portions are very generous and cooked very well. Highly recommend you won't be disappointed.
