    Perfection! Everything that I've tried has been awesome! The brisket is really good. It's moist and flakes apart at the same time. The turkey is really good but I have to warn you it's a bit pepper spicy which is exactly to my liking but maybe too much for others. I think the barbecue chicken is the absolute best. The sides were all very good. And I'm happy to say that they're not loaded with salt and pork as their flavor enhancers. And the staff is about as friendly as you're going to find anywhere. A bunch of great guys!

    I've been to this place twice and always satisfied! The food is on point! Meat is nice and tender, seasoned well. I would give it 5 stars but the appearance is not good. The place looks closed and rundown. But the BQ is good.

    This place is worth your money! Chicken, ribs, sausage, brisket, potato salad, mac & cheese, etc to die for! Tender, juicy, tasty, finger licking good! I highly recommend you stop by!

    Some of the best BBQ ever!!!!!! I've traveled all over the u.s and had BBQ everywhere and This is in the top 5!!! Definitely best in San Antonio... brisket was moist and awesome taste... smoke ring was beautiful and great bark....the ribs were damn good!!! In top 3 for me....meat fell right off the bone...lots of meat on there.... sausage was definitely top tier..... potato salad and beans are delicious...BBQ sauce was perfect...not too spicy or not too sweet....and the owner chef Chris was very cool and sat there and talked to me my wife and mother in law for a while... definitely good people!!!! Don't miss out on this great place Some of the best BBQ and even better people running it.

    BBQ Life by Chris is Texas BBQ at its best. I had the two meat plate, and since I was in Texas, I had brisket and sausage. The brisket was absolutely perfect, moist, tender, seasoned and smoked to perfection. I am a BBQ cook, and Chris brisket was so good that I need to go home and step up my game!

    The sausage was excellent. Smoky, not too spicy, and had that snap you expect when you bite into it. The ranch beans and potato salad were also spot on.

    Chris is a very nice guy too. Spent a few minutes talking about BBQ with him and we both shared some knowledge about cooking BBQ. He has a passion for cooking great food for other people, and it shows in the quality of what he serves.

    You owe it to yourself to try BBQ Life by Chris. You will not be disappointed.
