La Fogata Mexican Cuisine

To start off, the Mexican vibe is good. I paid for Mariachi which was good for $15. The bad things is the pricing...its just too much. 3 tacos the size of a small palm with beans ONLY...$16. My advice is to ask what there is in the plate and please if you think its too little/price too high complain, because the staff are also a problem. The food is decent, just not worth +$15.

Very beautiful place. Gorgeous plants throughout. One of the best margaritas in town. However, my food wasn't very flavorful. I had a bit of everything but not impressed with my plate.

Tacos Al Carbon is my fave meal from this amazing place!! You can't go wrong with beef or chicken. Margaritas are always delightful, so worth it to spring for the top shelf ones. I never eat beans, but they are super tasty from here.

If you're in San Antonio, go out of your way to go here! It is a huge place with lots of atmosphere and delicious food. The classic margaritas in particular are fabulous (if you like sweet, then the fruit ones are also good, but they're a little too sweet for my taste). And the Tacos Norteños were such a great decision. I understand why my mom and her best friend go here every time they're in San Antonio - can't wait to go back!
