Leon Springs BBQ - The Original Rudy's"

You can order a variety of meats, chicken and sides. Everything is really good and they let your order by pounds and liters. My family and I enjoyed the food and service a lot. The place isn't quite nice and the restaurant isn't neat as well but the food takes the recognition of why you should definitely visit the place. The cost is low in my opinion.

I live about a mile from the original Rudy’s in Leon Springs. I wake up every morning to the smell of barbecue, and it smells wonderful! The food is above average for barbecue, it’s a bit pricey, but it is a unique experience and worth visiting once or twice. Their barbecue sauce is one of the best sauces I have ever tasted. Additionally, it comes in the regular which is pretty spicy and a non-spicy version, both of which you can purchase there at the store. Besides their barbecue, the cream corn is a must. They are for beer, tea and soft drinks. There are several locations around San Antonio but the original is in Leon Springs. It’s worth a visit weather here a local or here on business or for fun.

By far some of the best barbecue I've had in Texas. Any meat you get is smoked perfectly and flavor is on point. Prices are worth the amount you get. The cream corn is so good I wanted to get more. Really, even if you don't like creamed corn you have got to try it. I promise you it'll be worth it. Their signature sauce is well blended for the meat they serve. The atmosphere is pleasant and the aroma of the smoke will have you back for more.

Pretty good....I would definitely go back. Potato salad is not the business. You can definitely tell it's not homemade. The turkey is delish! Brisket not the best but then again I'm not a brisket person. I ordered the baby backs and they had good flavor. The cream in the cream corn is to die for YUM YUM! The staff is really nice great customer service, thanks for the experience.
