Bayseas Catfish House #5

So glad we found this place! The food is delicious and the closest we've found to back home in my opinion (Corpus). They have my favorite fish (Drum)!! The 2nd time we went though the fish did have a lot of bones in them still compared to the 1st time we went and I found none. Definitely will be returning though!

Awesome fried catfish, generous portions and friendly folks. Food ready pretty quickly and piping hot! Some of the best catfish around! Can’t wait to try some of their other stuff like the Gumbo zip have heard a lot about, but you can’t beat their catfish and shrimp special for lunch.

Really nice place for fish and shrimp and sandwiches. The staff there is friendly and the service is fast. The prices are just right also.

Super delicious & comfortable! They treated us like family! My husband & I ate catfish, fries, coleslaw & gumbo! The catfish melts like butter in your mouth & the gumbo is super spicy & delicious! Talking to the waitress, I found out they are family owned & operated & have been open 42 or 43 years! Now the children run it! Very relaxing & family friendly! My children ate dinosaur chicken nuggets & fries! I recommend everyone visiting San Antonio to go!
