A favorite place for Lebanese food. do yourself a favor and give this place a try. nothing but pleasant experiences here. prices are fair.
Probably one of the best Middle Eastern food restaurants in Texas, the family platter is great with kabobs shush Tawook and kafta. They also have hookahs and tea, as well as desert like kunafa that are all tasty and above average, I met the owners and they are nice and Genuine people, they also have events every Saturday night.
It’s difficult to find a high quality Levantine restaurant in San Antonio, but we found Al-Amir to be a great experience! The hummus was the best we’ve had, and the falafel was great as well!
Everything anyone ordered was a hit! Nice presentation, generous portions. I just ate hummus and ALMOST finished the plate by myself- great stuff. Planning to go back alone and order a hookah and a pot of tea the next time I have couple of free hours and a good book to read. Outdoor seating is nice, located on the side of the building not facing the road so it stayed quiet while still catching the breeze. Five stars for sure!
Everything on our plates wowed us with how delicious it was, starting with the homemade bread brought out hot and fresh before the meal. The service was excellent and we really enjoyed our time! They got our orders correct and brought them out in no time. Overall just a great experience at a local place and we highly recommend them if you’re in the mood for anything Mediterranean!
We got a chicken plate (can’t remember the name!) and Gyro plates, both with hummus and salad. Nice large sizes and came home with enough for another meal. The service was so friendly and I appreciated that they were patient and didn’t mind when I didn’t know how to pronounce things.
We will be back for certain. Thanks, Al-Amir!
