Al Madina Meat Market and grill

THEY HAVE THE MOST TENDER STEAKS IN ALL OF SAN ANTONIO,TEXAS!

My favorite market since moving to SA. Great selections and wonderful meat and spices. Staff is always great.

There are several reasons why I give the Al Madina market a top rating, listed in no particular order:
1. The personnel are friendly, courteous and helpful. Nobody leaves the market without getting personal attention and assistance with whatever they need.
2. Their meats are simply top notch. If you have never tried “halal” meats, you are in for a treat. I believe that you will notice a significantly better taste than what you get at chain supermarkets.
3. Their in-house grill makes excellent fare. The menu offers a wide variety of dishes, both Middle Eastern and American. We are frequent takeout customers.
4. Last but not least is the fact that they score %100 on their health inspections consistently.
Finally, after experiencing what the Al Medina market has to offer, my wife and I willingly go out of our way to shop there.

Real organic halal meat is hard to find in San Antonio, but Al Madina has it. The flavor and cuts are superior to any other market I've been to. After finding them, I will not be buying my meat from anywhere else. (Try their authentic Moroccan sandwiches!)

The best kabab sandwich in town. I have eaten at many places, but this one is really different, very delicious. It’s a small place, worth the travel.
