Great food! You can tell it is made fresh every day. Meat quality is amazing...you will not find rubbery mystery meat here. Definitely my go to for Chinese in San Antonio!

Absolutely delicious! We ordered general Tso chicken , lemon chicken and sweet and sour chicken carry out. All of it was piping hot and delicious. The sauces were in containers rather than on the chicken, so we got to control the amount we put on. We also loved the cheese Rangoon and chicken egg rolls. Asian Box did not disappoint at all. We look forward to our next visit.

This new restaurant is minority- and woman-owned. The owner is usually at the counter and she's very nice. The food is piping hot and very fresh. She'll customize it for you - I asked for extra garlic and the heat level to be spicy, and got exactly what I wanted. She also has homemade desserts: cheesecake and mochi. Another customer raved about how good the mochi is. The restaurant is very clean.

I was debating between 2 or 3 stars and decided to go with 3. This was my first time ordering from this restaurant. I had saw it had opened and was curious to try something new. I live outside their delivery radius so I ordered online for a carry out. When I went to pick up my order, the staff was friendly and my order was ready and waiting for me.
After reading the reviews I decided to order the special beef with fried rice, beef and broccoli with fried rice and an order of egg rolls. The special beef was horrible. It appeared to be overcooked. The beef was very hard to chew. Not only wAs the meat tough, it had no flavor. The description states the sauce should be sweet and spicy but to me it was not spicy at all. I do not have a high tolerance to spicy food either. We did not eat the special beef due to it being so hard to chew.
I will say the beef and broccoli was good and so was the fried rice and egg rolls. This being my first time to try this restaurant and having one of my meals overcooked to the point it was not edible was very disappointing.
I decided on 3 stars due to the large portions and the other meal tasting good.
I am not sure I will eat here again, especially since it does not deliver to me and my first experience was not great one.

Love this place! The menu offers many diverse as well as expected options. The food was delicious and the staff was friendly, accommodating and made us feel welcome. We stopped in to order this time and will definitely be ordering again, especially delivery, in the future. Highly recommend it.
