Bakudan Ramen

Great place for a ramen, atmosphere and background music feels like you're in a club! Ramen flavor is top notch! My only gripe is the portions for the chashu slices...they are EXTREMELY thin. At 15.75 plus 3 for an extra 2 slices. The slices were no bigger than say 2 credit cards put together....🥴 Staff is awesome, ramen is flavorful, but meat portions were disappointing. Ramen and Poke would be a better choice.

My go-to for ramen over the last few years and just as good as their Rim location.

Staff was all polite and attentive.

There’s also a fantastic full bar stocked with many signature cocktails.

Been waiting for this place to open!

My wife and I also like to venture out and try different ramen places.

The service was on point. Atmosphere / decor is upscale informal and the food even better.

The pork belly was perfect not too much fat.

Definitely one of my top 2 ramen places in SA now.

Bakudan Ramen is easily the best Ramen place in northern San Antonio. Eggs are the perfect orange as they should be. The broth was flavorful and perfectly paired with the noodles and seaweed. Just look at that picture accompanied with this review! 🤤

The peach mule is my favorite drink there thus far. 🍹

We've been excited for this location to open as it's closer to us than The Rim. This restaurant NEVER disappoints. Everything from the apps, ramen, dessert, COCKTAILS(damn), and service(double damn)were superb. The tuna nachos are a must. One of the best, if not the best, new restaurant openings I've been to. I can't give enough praise to their team for a seamless visit. We'll be back for sure.
