BB's Tex-Orleans

Had an amazing lunch with an old friend. This place was an awesome surprise! Service was amazing! Ask for Jonathan, very patient with telling you about the menu.

Now the food!! I had the Rockdale red fish with green beans , extremely delicious!!! My friend had the shrimp and grits with greens! She loved it!! For desert we were treated to a rum cake! Holy sweetness it was phenomenal! Def a 5 star review for them. Manager came over twice to check on us, I love that attention to detail! — eating lunch at BB's Tex-Orleans (Alamo Ranch).

The food and service was good. I got the "Water Creature" Wednesday special. It was a shrimp boil with a corn, potato, mushrooms, and 3 different types of sausage. Can't beat it for $20. I liked the fact that they plated it instead of serving it in a bag. I got it the Tex Orleans way with plenty of sauce for dipping. The Tex Orleans fries were delicious. I will be going back since there is so much more I want to try.

Shout out to D-Flo (our server) he was very knowledgeable and helpful!! This was our first time here and we had a blast! The food was on point and the atmosphere was perfect! We will be returning for sure! We visited during dinner time and everything was perfect! Great staff and a great place for a relaxed meal.

Ate here over the weekend with someone. At first, there's a waiting time to get a table, but that's fine since they're busy. The food is extremely tasty, one of the best restaurants I've ever eaten at. They hold that Southern tradition really well, their food is so authentic. The service provided by the employees are amazing, they adhere great customer service. Well deserved 5 stars from me!

This new restaurant is a great addition to this area. The hush puppies and gumbo were not to be missed! Milly was very knowledgeable and helpful with everything! She should be training every new hire that comes in! She knows her stuff! Also, Paul was incredibly helpful while we waited for our table. Thank you for creating an amazing atmosphere! We will definitely be back!!!
