Not what I had expected but good comfort food. Great brisket and coleslaw. Cafeteria style and home down atmosphere.

Very good food. Always fresh!! I would give 5 stars, but you have to bring back biscuits and potato’s!! 🙂

Everything here was great! We are from out of town and was just driving by and decided to stop. Employees were very friendly! Great Texas BBQ. My husband really enjoyed the homemade sausage, said the ribs were very tender. The Brisket was fall apart good. They serve rolls that are made in their bakery. We had to go back to the room and take a nap😉

What brings me home ain't the taste of barbecue. It's the smell; that sweet, warm smell of wood-fired BBQ.

That is the very first thing that greets you as you approach the restaurant, beckoning and inviting you to have some delicious food. Inside, the Retro-Western decor just makes it even more memorable.

The only downside of this place is the absence of fried food: not only fried meats (which is not really a bad thing in a BBQ place), but no fries, mashed potato, or fried okra can leave some disappointed. But the limited variety does not harm the quality of the main courses.

Definitely recommend if you love BBQ!

It's an experience to deliver here! Local police stop traffic both directions for you to back in to dock from street! It's tight but do-able, but a not to be missed experience. Everyone there helpful and courteous.

Being a truck driver I delivered to your downtown DC. Not that anything was wrong or bad (it wasn't) but 4 and 5 stars are for over and above. If you had a food truck at your docks selling your delicious barbecue you would get a 4 star rating! Now, if it was complimentary for drivers it would be a strong 5! Keep doing what you're doing!
