Cute, quaint, comfortable setting with good food. Carol, the owner, will visit with you and make you feel right at home.

A quaint little mom & pop place run in a converted old house. The atmosphere is an intriguing mix of granny's clean kitchen and a filthy gas station style convenience store, but with a surprising variety for the size. The cook was very nice and thoroughly washed her hands and wore fresh gloves while preparing my food. I first ordered a fajita, but they had none thawed, so I went with a cheeseburger. The cook was not happy with the first one she cooked, and made me a new one without being asked. That being said, the mound of cold, shredded cheese she put on the "good one" still mostly failed to melt and had cold pockets. The burger itself wasn't bad, and the price was fair. As far as I saw, though, most of the customers came for the beer. If I ever go back, I'll probably do the same - or at least skip the cheese.
